This long-lived showstopper has minimal requirements in the garden, and when met, your Foxtail Lilies will be sure to please. Roberta’s Foxtail Lilies prefer to be planted in the full sun in a location that offers rich, well-draining soil and somewhere that your flowers can remain mostly sheltered from the wind. Roberta’s recommends planting your Foxtail Lilies next to dark evergreens in the garden for a truly luminous effect, and this will also aid in protecting your plants from the wind. Furthermore, we recommend not dividing your tubers, as Foxtail Lilies prefer to be left alone. Roberta’s Foxtail Lilies generally cannot be found in the United States as most bulb production is kept in Europe and when you see these gorgeous willowy flowers blooming in your garden, you’ll understand why they’ve tried to keep them for themselves.
