Gardener's have loved asiatic lilies for decades because they are very dependable and incredibly showy in the garden. The lollypop asiatic lily is everything we would expect from a perennial asiatic lily, but the difference is the painterly flowers. Each of the flowers produced by these bulbs looks as if an artist hand painted them, with streaks of magenta pink flushing along the tips of the flowers, creamy butter yellow towards the center, and a delicate freckling like icing on top. Most asiatic lilies usually come in just one single color, but not the lollypop hybrid.

Over time they will create lovely clumps in the garden, producing more and more flowers all the while. They're also excellent candidates for growing in containers on the patio or porch, so you can easily move them to wherever you want to enjoy beauty that day. Asiatic lilies are wonderful companions to your oriental lilies as they help to complement the bloom period- blooming a couple weeks before your orientals in early summer. They're also a little shorter than asiatics, so remember this when arranging your perennial garden. They'll quickly double in quantity as they produce small bulbs in a couple seasons just underneath the soil.
